Metramac gets more time to submit declaration of assets

10 March 2006, The Sun PUTRAJAYA: Metramac Corporation Sdn Bhd yesterday succeeded in obtaining more time to submit a declaration of its assets after the Federal Court granted it an interim stay on a March 1 order of the Court of Appeal. The legal counsel of Metramac, Mr. Shafee, submitted that the March 1 order was an abuse of process and irrelevant. This was objected to by Mr. Benjamin Dawson, the legal counsel for Fawziah Holdings Sdn Bhd. Mr. Dawson submitted that the order was relevant as there was a pattern of funds moving out of Metramac whenever funds went into the company.
